Nova: Moments' Private Assistant for Total Control

The Importance of Content Control

In a world where every post can turn into a massive exposure, finding tools that allow you to manage reach is crucial. This is where Nova, the private assistant built into Moments, comes in. This feature is designed to give you unprecedented control over who sees what content, allowing you to enjoy a more private and personalized experience.

What Exactly is Nova?

Nova is an AI-powered tool that resides within the Moments app. With it, you'll have access to features like managing custom audiences and weekly activity summaries. But most importantly, it allows you to create content with complete prior approval from your side. It’s like having a personal assistant in the digital world, always safeguarding your privacy.

Create Moments Securely

Imagine being at a family gathering or a celebration with friends. You have a thousand photos on your camera but don’t want everyone to see them; this is where Nova steps in. You can take those photos and prepare them as Moments, selecting who will be able to view each one (from 'only me' to specific lists). This way, you can share memories without any worries.

Practical Case: A Special Birthday

Think about the surprise birthday party you organized for a close friend. You’d want to capture all those fun moments without worrying about an unwanted person seeing them.
With Nova, you can:

• Approve each photo: Before publishing them, review everything alongside your closest friends.
• Create Custom Audiences: Only your mutual friends can see these special memories.
• Summarize Activities: At the end of the event, you receive a summary of who interacted with you throughout the day.

Effective Management with Encrypted Security

There’s nothing worse than feeling vulnerable when sharing something as personal as memories or thoughts. The good news is that data managed by Nova is encrypted; this means every conversation within the chat or any sensitive data will be protected under secure encryption. If you ever need to reinstall the app or switch devices, you'll be able to recover everything using your PIN.

Multiple Audience Levels: Total Flexibility

Unlike other platforms where you have only two basic options (private/public), Moments offers six different levels to determine who will see your posts:

• Everyone
• Mutuals
• Best Friends
• Custom Audience
• Custom List
• Only Me

Knowing how to manage these options can be crucial if you're someone who values their privacy while sharing everyday experiences.

A New Way to Share Memories: Combining Useful Features

Nova not only helps with creation and management; it’s also perfectly integrated with other features like Echoes, where you can anchor specific memories based on location and previous interactions among mutual friends.
This means you're not just sharing photos; you're creating collective stories with the right people at the right moment.
